Responsibilities
- As SAP FICO Consultant you will take end-to-end ownership of FICO deliverable on projects and provide valuable expertise
- Well acquainted with SAP Methodology and experienced in all stages of project implementation
- Managing and owning all aspects of FICO deliverables
- You will lead / guide a team of SAP consultants
- Understanding requirements and writing Functional Specification documents
- Should be an individual Contributor and played client facing lead role
- Estimation of efforts, identifying risks, and providing technical support whenever needed
- Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re-prioritizing responsibilities based on dynamic requirements
- Leading and mentoring small-sized teams
Required Skills
- FI – Core (GL/New GL/AR/AP)
- Understanding of Organization Structure, Chart of Accounts, Account Determination, Period End and Year End Close along with Automatic Payments, EBS, Lockbox, DME and Banking)
- CO – Core (Cost Center, Internal Order, Settlements)
- Parallel Ledger and Document Splitting
- Profit Center and Segment Accounting
- SAP Treasury module experience with MBC setup
- Profitability Analysis
- GL Planning and Budgeting
- Thorough understanding of cross functional applications, integrating other modules like FI, MM, PS and SD
- Knowledge of Enhancement and user-exits in areas of functional expertise
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into SAP Design and Configure the same
- Ability to conduct business requirements, gathering and solutioning workshops
- Configuration and creating Functional Specifications for RCIEFW development
- Developing and executing test cases
- Hands on experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Quality Assurance, Resolving Defects and track using HP Quality Center or any other testing tool
- A minimum of 4 end to end SAP FICO module implementation experience is required out of which at least two in SAP S/4HANA public or private cloud environment
- Should have hands-on experience in Application Support and Global Rollouts
- Hands on experience in Training, Cutover and Go-Live activities
- Hands on experience in Month-end closing activities
- Well versed with Agile project implementation methodology
- Experience working with various tools for issue recording and tracking; Change request management, testing tools, 3rd party systems integration etc
- Experience in working on Global Delivery projects for International Clients preferred
- Preference will be given to SAP Certified FI/CO Solution Consultants
- Domain experience in Finance and Accounting will be an added advantage
- Domain business knowledge/understanding of Accounting / Costing - beyond technical implementation experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
